The resurgence of SIAC Men’s basketball at the NCAA D2 level isn’t just an overnight flash in the pan. There’s one program that’s been the bedrock of the conference, representing the league nationally on multiple occasions. The Golden Bears of Miles College look to remain part of that standard for SIAC visibility. Head Coach Fred Watson’s ability to recruit effectively from both the transfer portal and the High School & Prep ranks are a big reason for Miles’ consistency as a program.
