The Christmas break is almost here, so it’s time for #HBCUHoopsWeekly to drop the December edition of the #HBCUHW NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Top Ten Poll. There’s been a bit of movement in the rankings since the debut rankings dropped in November. The King stays the king for another month, with the Norfolk State Spartans remaining at the top of the rankings. South Carolina State has rode a surprisingly strong OOC slate to #2 this month, with the rest of the poll sprinkled with MEAC, SWAC, and CAA schools.

Dropped Out: Tennessee State, Grambling, NC A&T


The Toyota Chris Paul HBCU Classic will take place on December 19 & 20th. Three teams in this month’s top 10, Alabama State, Norfolk State, and Delaware State, will be front and center, with November poll member Grambling being the fourth squad in the showcase. The games will be broadcast on ESPN.
